To convey visual information to groups or individuals, various religious, corporate and educational organizations uses PowerPoint as an effective tool. Through the use of animation, graphics and text, this Presentation software package allows the user to make informational and dynamic slides.
  • in simple language, PowerPoint is presentation graphics software, which is used to create various presentation materials like tables, charts, graphics, slides, handouts, overheads etc.
  • .ppt or .pptx is the extension of power point.
How to start PowerPoint?
First click on start button
Select all programs
Select Microsoft office
Then select Microsoft office PowerPoint.

First click on start button
Then select run option (short cut key is: windows key + R)
Type PowerPoint in run dialog box

Right click on Desktop
Open popup Manu, Select New option
Open submenu,
Select Microsoft PowerPoint Presentation

Features of PowerPoint

  • Live Presentations. PowerPoint offers several different ways in which you can customize and
    control how the presentation looks when played as an onscreen slide show.

  • Slide transitions are the animation-like effects that occur when you move from one slide to the next during a presentation. You can control the speed, add sound, and customize the properties of transition effects.
