Features or Applications of Word

• Excel features like calculation, graphing tools, pivot tables, and charts.
• which provide different formulas and functions that make it easy to calculate numerical data.

Features of Excel
• Worksheets. Within each file, you can divide and organize a large volume of data across multiple worksheets or pages of information in the file.
• Ranges. You can assign a name to a contiguous area on a worksheet
• Charts. Translate your data into a meaningful image by creating a chart in Excel
• PivotTables. allow you to transform and analyze data in a structured manner.
• Excel Tables. If you want your data tables to be well-ordered and structured, you need to use Excel Data Tables.
• Filtering and sorting data. Excel is meant to transform and analyze data, and filtering/sorting is one of the key elements.
• Table of data. You will probably want to sort the data in a descending/ascending manner or filter out rows based on some features.
• Conditional formatting. To identify variances in a range of values using graphics like colors, bars, or icons.
• Number and Date Value Formatting. You can apply a number format that defines how Excel should display a cell’s contents, indicating whether decimal points should appear and whether a percentage or dollar sign should be included.
